Mt. BakerMount Baker Washington holds the World record for the most recorded snowfall of any resort in the United States. Plenty of intermediate to expert ski terrain with a nice long healthy Winter season. Mount Baker has all-natural snowfall, so opening day is dependent on snow conditions.

Frequently voted in the top twenty resorts in the nation, Mt Baker takes great pride in their terrain and mountain. Four seperate village settings yield a wide mix of culture and folk all slopeside with serious good vibeage. Ski Shuksan Arm, a huge ridge accessible from the top of Chair 8, is mentioned over and over again by reporters as hands-down the best gravity train in the nation. Mt. Baker Ski Area offers snowshoe and cross-country ski rentals out of both the White Salmon and Heather Meadows Lodges.

Day skiing till 3:30pm so get their early. Terrain difficulty breaks down as follows: Beginner Terrain 24%, Intermediate Terrain 45%, and Expert Terrain 31%.
